The Manara family, among the oldest in Ziano Piacentino, is a pillar of local viticulture. As early as the 1930s, he began producing must grapes, bringing innovation to the area with the first Gutturnio label in 1939.

Today, Ferraia Winery covers 40 hectares of vineyards in the hills of Ziano Piacentino. The company has been able to combine tradition and innovation, modernizing its facilities without losing its connection to the past. In recent years we have invested in advanced winemaking technologies, ensuring the highest quality in every bottle.
Each wine is the result of meticulous care, from the vineyards to the winery, with the goal of producing select wines with unmistakable personality. Today, Ferraia Winery represents one of the most important entities in the Piacenza wine scene, recognized for the originality and excellence of its products.
The Vineyard
The Tenuta Ferraia covers 40 hectares in the heart of the hills of Ziano Piacentino. The Manara family cultivates the vineyards with passion, combining traditional practices and modern techniques. Each vine is carefully followed to obtain superior quality grapes that result in authentic wines, rich in personality that enhance the soul and essence of our territory.
The Winery
Each step in the winemaking process is designed to respect the character of each grape variety. White grapes are gently pressed to preserve aromas and freshness, while red grapes macerate for a long time to extract tannins and complexity. Aging in steel or barriques ensures wines of rich aromas that best express their authenticity.
